OVERVIEW:
This authentic interpretation of
a 15-century English-Tudor manor
boasts of a well-composed facade
complete with period chimneys,
oriels, masonry parapet roofs,
European beaded-casement windows
and Tudor arches. This home
consists of a fireplace nook,
central foyer, five bedroom
suites, master on main, formal
dining, family room and Great
Hall. The Great Hall opens out
onto a raised terrace and steps
its way down garden terraces to
the estate's pool, gardens, pool
house, and private lake beyond.
This home also incorporates a
5-car motor court beyond the
Tudor-arched porte-cochere. A
brick, barrel-vaulted kitchen
ceiling was designed to share
light through the barrel ends
from the north-facing façade of
the motor court wall. Detailed
brick work and half-timbering
techniques are reflected in the
gable ends and towering chimneys.
