We are Translators
Taking your dreams and forming them into spaces that connect, support, and inspire.
Who We Are
D.T. Hubbell Architects is a boutique, principal-led, Atlanta-based residential architecture firm specializing in distinctive custom homes, legacy estates, lake and mountain retreats, and thoughtfully integrated additions throughout Atlanta, North Georgia, and the Southeast.
Our work is rooted in each client’s personal lifestyle, informed by architectural tradition, and interpreted for contemporary life.
We are translators—taking your dreams and forming them into spaces that connect, support, and inspire. We are dedicated to distinctive, timeless design, finding a delicate balance between our creativity and your individuality. Together, we create a canvas open to the magic of what comes next.
Throughout the project, you work directly with the principal architect, creating a personal and collaborative relationship from the first conversation through completion.
Our approach is honest and explorative—not just what you need now, but for the family you want to have, the lifestyle you want to live, and the experiences you want to share with your closest friends and family.
“Their design was well-concieved, and they intuitively incorporated our ideas. Despite our ever-changing lives, our dream home is absolutely ageless!"
— TEDDY WIEGAND
To us, distinctive design means crafting a home that is truly one-of-a-kind. Your home won’t be found anywhere else. It will be a singular expression of you and your desires—a place you can truly call home.
Our kitchens and living areas become the heart of your home, spaces to gather and connect where meals are shared, conversations flow, and memories are made. Our private spaces support rest and individual retreat, creating opportunities for time apart. We provide architecture for entertaining that inspires your people and allows your culture to spill out onto the terrace overlooking the forest. Our homes are cultural ties that remember history while leaving room for your vision of the future.
With more than 25 years of experience, D.T. Hubbell Architects is a leader in high-end residential design, bringing trusted expertise, thoughtful perspective, and personal care to creating a home that is both distinctive and enduring.
